Tutorial: Simple Everyday Makeup

I know I am not being productive as much as I should and that is because I've been busy with mommy duties. Forgive me pretties, but don't worry I have something for all of you today :)

This is the first time that I made a make up tutorial so please don't expect much. I promise to make better ones in the future ;)

For today I aimed for a simple daytime make up that is great for college students and working ladies who wants to look their best but don't want to look too made up.

Baking: Chocolate Cupcake with Caramel Frosting

You all know that I love baking, but let me tell you right now, I am not good yet. I am still learning the art of baking and I am hoping that someday I'd be able to create my very own beautiful, sinful and scrumptious signature cakes and cupcakes and hopefully I already have my own cafe by then :)

Anyway I found an inspiration for my next cupcake flavor and did it last week. My husband's not really fond of sweet foods so when he asked me to bake that chocolate cupcake i baked I know it only means that I made a good job :) (happy wifey here)

So without further adieu, here comes my version of chocolate cupcake with caramel frosting!

I searched high and low for a good recipe of chocolate cake, found some and just tweaked it for my own preference and here's the outcome. Chocolate-y, moist, soft and not overly sweet cupcake, just the way I like it baby :)

Review: Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip Gloss in Fiery Red

Hello Lovies!

If there's one makeup product that i cannot live without, that will be lip products. Not surprising right? I mean come on, lipstick just brightens up the whole face in a swipe and make a big difference. I for one cannot live the house without anything on my lips, I just look pale if I don't.

When I was still a kid, around 4-5 years old, I remember sneaking into my aunt's vanity kit to try on her lippies, after that I will kiss a white paper to mark it with my lips and keep it on my bag. I just love looking at the shape and color of my lips with lipstick on and at such a young age it made me feel so pretty (talk about being vain early haha)

But honestly I just feel so pale and naked without any color on my lips.

So today I will be talking about the newest Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip Gloss in Fiery Red (Php 299). It's included in the Glamourbox Special Edition box together with the Avon Supershock Max Mascara and other Avon products.

What's Cooking: Garlic Butter Shrimp

My family loves to eat and cook and one of our favorite are shrimps. Sinigang, Tempura and the likes will be gone once served on the table :)

So my hubby and I went to the market the other day and saw the fresh shrimps and we immediately decided that we'll have it for lunch. Shrimps and sea foods are best cooked right away to keep the freshness. Once we're home I prepared everything I need and proceed to cooking the shrimps. I decided to cook garlic butter shrimp because my son and I are fond of butter (butter just make foods sooo much butter, for me at least teehee)

So here's the finished product!

Baking: Betty Crocker's Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Hi lovies, today I will be sharing one secret of mine, I love to eat (aren't we all? =P) I love cooking and baking as much as i love makeups. I am not saying that I am a great cook I know I still have so much to learn. But you know that feeling when your family liked the food you served them and they just keep asking for more? Its just priceless! And very fulfilling. Anyway, I really wanted to learn how to bake since I was a child but because we don't have an oven back then and knowing that baking is not cheap, and that you have to buy all the necessary tools and ingredients, I kind of forgot about it, but that's until my mom sent me a convection oven from Dubai. From then on I searched for easy to bake recipes online and tried replicating it. So imagine my delight when my mom included some cake and brownie mix in her Christmas package! To be honest I was not expecting too much from a pre-made mix but I guess I spoke to soon because we totally loved it! So here's the finished product:
