Hey lovies!
Late it may be but I want to greet all of you a wonderful New Year!
Today I will be reviewing one of the gift I receive for Christmas the Stardust Make up Palette from Mikyajy.
This palette contains 92 colors for eyes, face lips.
72 eyeshadows
8 lip colors
3 blushers
2 face powder
1 mini eye liner pencil in black
Eye shadows
Sample swatches:
The eyeshadows contain several finishes from matte, satin and frost.
They are pigmented, well pressed and not that chalky, the swatches did not give them justice, I am amaze with the pigmentation of the eye shadows, although I have to admit, some colors are a bit chalky and hard to blend and show up on my skin. But that is okay.
Wide color selections, from nudes and browns to screaming orange and brightest greens and reds and blue.
Blusher
Blushers are also pigmented, it looks quite scary on the pan but fret not, just use a light hand and you'll be okay.
The first shade is quite a revelation to me, at first look, it looks like a champagne highlighter and i did not expect more with it, but when i swatch it, voila! It is pigmented with rosy color and a touch of sheen, no chunky glitters! Super lovely color.
Second shade is a matte plummy mauve shade, best for dark skin toned gal like myself. When applied light it gives naturally blushing cheeks.
Third color is matte warm but bright pink. Careful with this one because it tends to give you a clown face if put too much.
Over all the blushes are nice, with super pigmentation and leans to warm color spectrum so filipinas and warm colored gal will love it. I guess the only caveat is that the pans are too small, but with its pigmentation, a little goes a long way.
The two face powders below are translucent in color and good as setting powder. Don't expect any coverage because there aint any. First one ia translucent beige for warm skin tone and the second one is pinking good for women with cool skintone. Finish is matte.
Lip gloss
The lip glosses are a mix of cool and warm sgades from nudes, baby pink, to plum and orange shades.
It is actually lipstick with sheer finish, you can layer to build the color up. The ones on the upper part have good pigmentation and actually shows up well on my lips. The bottom part are too light for me and washes me out. I have to tell you though that the glosses are sticky and does not fare too well with longevity.
The set comes with mini eye pencil in black, color is super black but unfortunately it smudges big time.
Over all this palette is a good buy and I recommend it for every one. It's very handy, lovely and good wide selection of shades.
I also have the Groovy Compact palette, and I love it! I reviewed that palette here and made a sample look with it.
Seriously Mikyajy has got awesome products that can compete with lots of drugstore make up brands.
