Food: John Daniels Restaurant

I am a big fan of fast food restaurants (burgers, french fries, pizza, fried chicken etc..) I eat those 3 or more times a week. I know, I know very unhealthy and I ought to change my eating habits. In my defense =P I like cooking real foods, however, living alone makes it hard for me, extra foods get wasted and call me vain but if I eat the same food 3 times a day for 2 days makes me lose my appetite, who can relate?

So I have discovered this little fast food near Al Kabayel Center in Muraqqabat Road in Deira, it is a little hole in a whole restaurant that is owned by my Kabayan Friend here in Dubai. Anyone who worked and are working in Dubai knows how many cafeterias, shawarma stall are there, sometimes beside each other and at first glance this Jack Daniel's looks no different, but I tell you, the foods are great! Specially the burger, which is the best seller, it can compete with major named fast food and you won't be disappointed considering the price point.

So enough with all the ramblings haha! I'll just show you

The Megabite Burger

 This is the one I ordered the first time I came to eat here. 100% beef patty that is very tender and juicy, no extender and never frozen, freshly made daily. It has turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato and overflowing with cheese sauce. The bread is soft albeit a lil crumbly, if there is one thing I would like them to change it will be the bun.

A few days after I came back and ordered this, it has 2 chicken, classic burger with blue lagoon lemonade, a good deal in my opinion. Chicken pieces in thigh and leg part, juicy and tasty but I hope it can be more crunchier. The gravy is good too, tastes like the gravy we have in the Philippines. For those non gravy fan, you can opt for garlic sauce instead. Fries are thick and crunchy, love it (but that's just me being a fries lover, lol)

Blue Lagoon Lemonade

Usually lemonade here is soda based mixed with a little lemon juice and blue curacao, and being a non soda drinker I always opt for plain water or juice instead, so imagine my delight when I found out that this drink is not the common soda based lemonade but is made from real fresh lemon instead, love it, very refreshing, one glass is not enough.

Another thing I also like about this restaurant is the open kitchen. You can clearly see how they prepare and cook your food so you know that it is clean when they put it on your table.

Staff and the Owner are very nice and approachable. Come and visit to see for yourself, also as a way to promote and help our fellow Kabayan.

The also have burger steak meal and chicken meal with unlimited rice.

and oh they offer free delivery too, all over Deira so what are y'all waiting for?!
