Review: GOSH 22 Eye Shadow Palette with Swatches..

It's exactly 1:40am here in Dubai and I am still very much awake. Can't sleep. Good thing there's no work today, because it is Easter. Well it is not really considered as holiday here in the land of camels, however our very kind boss gave us a time off to make time going to church and celebrate the Easter with the love ones. I am so missing the Easter back in the PH when kids are up early in the morning to find Easter eggs around the village. Ahh the feeling of finding colorful eggs around the bush, pots of plants etc.

Speaking of colorful, today I will be reviewing a colorful eye shadow palette that was given to me as a late birthday present by someone very kind.

GOSH 22 Eye Shadow Palette

I've been seeing GOSH cosmetics in most drugstores and malls here in Dubai but this is the first time I owned something from this brand. I have a lipstick from GOSH too, but that's for another post =P

Aren't the colors Oh so pretty? Truth be told, I am not one to wear eye shadow on a daily basis, I am just a powder, eye liner, lipstick and mascara kind of girl. One of the reason is that because I wear eye glasses most of the time due to my poor eyesight. But I do wear shadows when I take a break from wearing glasses and put on contact lenses instead and whenever there's a special occasion or party to attend to or when I feel it.

Here are the swatches:

                                         First row and second row

Third and fourth row
(Forgot to swatch the last shade from the third row)

Pigmentation is mostly good, sheer ones don't show up as much but the darker one's are really good. See that navy blue? (first shade on fourth row)

Shadows are very smooth, with minimum fall outs.

Variety of finish (matte, frost and satin)

Staying power is just okay, better to use primer underneath to make the color vibrant and to stay longer.

Lots of colors, there's something for day and night look. Possibilities are endless, just be creative.

The matte black packaging looks professional. It is slim but sturdy too and locks very well. Plus there a huge mirror. What's not to love?

The only thing I don't like is the small sponge applicator it came with.

Overall I am very happy with the quality of this palette and I am very much looking forward to creating different looks with it.

Simple look I made with it:

So guys what do you think, will you try it for yourself?
