There are things we really, really want to happen, but even if we try so hard to make it happen, it just won't. Sad but true. I guess life is just like that, however it doesn't mean that we should stop from trying. Maybe we can still make it happen, not now but eventually or maybe something better is about to come. Patience and faith is the key.
Okay enough of my ramblings, let's talk something that cheer us up :) what else but make up, yes?
So I have here Max Factor Creme Puf, my cousin who's a fan of Max Factor gave it to me, she used pans and pans of this powder and she gave me one to try.
This is available in most drugstore and supermarkets around Dubai.
What is Creme Puff you ask? It is actually your good old pressed powder. I use it mainly as a setting powder and it does the job pretty well. I believe there are couple of shades to choose from but what I have is Translucent which works well with my morena skin tone and I'm sure it will work with anyone as Translucent is pretty much the safest choice if you don't fine your exact shade match, as it doesn't really have color.
It is finely milled albeit a little powdery as you can see with the swatch. Coverage is light to light medium. Can cover light blemishes but not darker ones. It is advisable to use it with foundation and or concealer. Staying power and oil control is okay on my combination skin. I retouch ones or twice if it's really hot. Great as retouch/blotting powder because it doesn't cake.
The sponge included is thin and flimsy with holes on it. Don't like using it so I just use my powder brush instead.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it has this strong perfume-y scent, it does goes away after a few ticks though so its okay. But if you have sensitive nose or just doesnt like having scent on your make up then you may not like it.
Also the packaging, I understand its been packaged that way since way, way back but it would be better if they change it into flip packaging with mirror to be more convenient.
So here is me using it, I am having good skin lately so I let my skin breathe, I just moisturized and put a little concealer under my eyes, topped it off with Creme Puff, a little lipstick and my brows and I'm good to go.

Max Factor Creme Puff has been around for ages, one of the iconic products of the said brand and been loved and used my many women for generation. Must be really that good.
