Review: MaxFactor Masterpiece Max High Volume and Definition Mascara

I don't know about you but the first thing I notice when I am talking to someone is their eyes. And being in an open country like Dubai you are bound to meet other nationalities, different eye colors, crazy thick and long lashes and sometimes I can't help but stare haha.

My lashes aren't so thick and long and curly. I think they are in the middle if there's a thing like that :p so Mascara is one of the staples in my make up kit. Eye make up is not complete without this final touches. It opens up the eyes, making it more expressive methinks, who agree? wink wink

My cousin is a fan of anything MaxFactor, Creme Puff, mascara, lipsticks, nail polish, you name it and she have it.

Before I started my very first job she gives me a couple of MaxFactor goodies. one of them is the Masterpiece. I love it! Read on to know why.

Review: Maybelline Lasting Drama EyeStudio 24HR Gel Liner in Brown

Hello Hello! Finally I am back to blogging world. I've been away for quite a while, more than a year if I am not mistaken. It's such a looooong story haha but to make it short: I came to Dubai, looked for a job, found one, adjusted to this foreign land, quit job then started a new one, all in a years time. Hopefully this one's a keeper. keeping my fingers crossed ;)

So the first job was in a Hotel, so of course physical appearance, correct make up is a must as I meet guests all the time and good impression is always important.

One of the things I noticed here in this country is that women's eyes are always lined, heavily if i must say. Lined eyes for me is a great way to emphasize one's face, it can give a tired looking eyes a more awake look if done correctly. The thing is with the weather here in Dubai, you should really invest in something smudge-proof, long wearing eye liner that won't make you check your eyes all the time for panda looking eyes.

I've been meaning to try gel liner for the longest time so one time we went to Carrefour in Mall of the Emirates and saw this on sale (AED 40 if I remember correctly) I grabbed it.
