Who get excited when there's new Make Up product that's about to launch?
Me! and I bet you do too =)
Well good news Make Up lovers in UAE
The newest European Brand is about to hit the town!
Well not really new as Make Up studio has been around since the 80's in Amsterdam, and mind you, they've got you covered from skin care to complete Make Up fit for every make up lovers and professional make up artists.
I got invited to sample and give feedback for each of their products and I have to warn you, pictures and swatches over load, so don't tell me I didn't warn you =P
Cream Contour Palette
For those who want to perfect their contouring technique I am sure you will love this Cream Contour Palette as it has all the shades you need to contour and highlight the areas of the face. The one on the picture above is the Dark version wasn't able to swatch the Light and Medium but base on what I see, medium and light skinned can use this too.
My first impression:
- It has a hard cream texture that you need to warm up first.
- Stick well to the skin but not at all sticky or icky.
- Lots of shades to choose from depending on your needs.
- Packaging is very sturdy professional looking. the rubberized interior is very similar to Nars, that being said, it is also a magnet for fingerprints and dust.
- Pigmentation is true to the pan.
Shimmer Blush
They have a variety of blush to choose from, there's shimmer, matte and cream blush available. The one above is the baked shimmer blush.
My first impression:
- Screw type packaging, personally i like the flipped version better because of the ease of opening and closing the product.
- The shade I swatched is again very similar to Nars famous Orgasm. Peachy pink with gold shimmer but this just a wee bit pinker. Pretty and universal shade.
- a little goes a long way.
Matte Blush
So for matte lovers here is something you will love. Nicely pigmented and finely milled blush. Well pressed to the pan and not chalky at all. Gotta love the flipped packaging too!
Shimmer Eye Shadow Palette and Singles
The shimmer eyeshadow palette is the same size as the cream contour palette, it will last you a lifetime!
My first impression:
- Generous size
- Very pigmented and true to the pan shades.
- Shimmer galore!
- The singles are more glittery than the ones on the palette.
Matte and Satin Eyeshadow
My first Impression:
- the shadows are very buttery, not chalky or powdery at all.
- nice pigmentation but I would still recommend using a primer to get the full vibrancy and longevity just like any eye shadow in the market. The swatch there is 1 layer only.
Over all I think it is really at par with other known make up brands. Packaging are not flimsy at all, there's heft to it and you can really say that it is a quality product.
I was told that they will be launching it at Spring time.
Prices will be between MAC and Inglot, but don't worry guys I will be updating you once I have the price information.
Are you excited as me?
Let me know what you think =)
