Review: Avon Supershock Max Mascara

I know its been days since my very first post in this blog and i really am sorry about that. We've been busy these past few days moving in to our new apartment. Gosh! It drained all our energy. With the summer-like weather here in Cavite what's more perfect time to review a heavy duty mascara? :) So here comes Avon Supershock Max Mascara (Php 420.00) 

So I got this mascara from Glamourbox Special Edition Box and boy was I excited to see this included in the stash!

I've been meaning to try this mascara and compare it to my favorite Avon SuperMagnify Mascara (Php 420.00) and I am glad it did not disappoint :)


I am blessed with naturally "curled" lashes but it's not that long and this mascara has helped me achieved that long lashes we all are aiming for, but not enough volume. Another good thing is that this baby stayed on my lashes the whole day without feathering, flaking or smudging despite the hot weather we have here.

Now what I don't like about this mascara is that there's so much product in the wand and there's a tendency to have a clumped lashes if you are not very careful with the application. Also the wand is so big I'm afraid that I'll accidentally poke my lashes every time I use this.

Between the SuperMagnify Mascara and this one, I'll still opt for the former since the wand is the perfect size for me and it gives me the volume and length that I want :)
